Usually, we use tableware that is already available at the client’s house. The kitchen must be equipped with at least two stoves (gas and electric stoves are both acceptable). The kitchen should also be equipped with basic kitchen utensils such as pots, pans and knives. We will also require basic ingredients and seasonings such as rice, oil, salt and sugar. If your order has been confirmed, it is best to provide us pictures of your kitchen and tools to ensure we have everything as required.
Yes, it is usually possible. However, guests should first confirm what their chosen menu is, the number of people dining, and provide us with pictures of the cooking equipment available in the clubhouse.
General needs of the clubhouse:
It is hard to say as each chef has their own schedule. However, we recommend bookings to be made at least one week prior.
We recommend each adult to be considered as one guest to ensure that food portions are sufficient. As for children, we suggest every two children be counted as one guest. Rest assured, we will adjust the menu size and dishes according to how many guests there are.
You may select your dishes when arranging payment. The ingredients we use are freshly sourced from local wet markets on the same day you eat your meal. Seasonal ingredients can be substituted, and minor adjustments can be made based on customer preferences.
Dishwashing is not included, the fee includes all ingredients, cooking services etc. The chef will simply clean and restore the kitchen after cooking. For other services such as waitering or dishwashing, please enquire with us for further details.
After receiving our order confirmation message, payment will need to be made immediately. Orders are only confirmed once payment is received.
Generally, payment must be made in full for orders made 10 days in advance. For orders made beyond 10 days in advance, you may pay a deposit of HKD1000, and the full balance should be paid a few days before the service.
Please provide us with pictures of your kitchen equipment including: two or more stoves, stock pots, stew pots, pans, chopping board, knives etc.

Door-to-door cooking is a project which was initially, but no longer, subsidised by the Social Innovation Fund from the Hong Kong government. This project promotes and trains homecooks who are talented with brilliant culinary skills. Through the services we provide, homecooks are able to utilise and share their cooking skills, all the while earning additional income!
